Fibreglass needs to be protected more than Paint.!!!!!! Why is that?

Our UV rays in NZ are 5 to 6 years stronger than Europe & due to the fact that it costs so much to put UV ray protectant’s in the gel-coat, most fibreglass manufacturers opt for the cheaper gel-coat which doesn’t have any or little UV ray protection. This is 30year old plus technology.

If it’s not maintained it will oxidise, loose it’s shine, break down, & you will eventually need to paint it.

So what do you do to combat this problem?

Something you probably didn’t know about your vehicles PAINT!!!!!!

It needs to be protected from our harsh UV rays, ESPECIALLY THE ROOF as they are 5 to 6 years stronger than Europe.

How do we do that?

Wash the road grime off regularly,
Wash bird droppings of straight away,
Wax at least twice a year, preferably twice over summer if it lives out- side.
